1. Marry Me Chicken

Why it’s popular: It’s so delicious that it might make someone propose marriage!

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp salt and black pepper
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tsp fresh basil or parsley

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the garlic for 1 minute, then add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes and red pepper flakes.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, cover, and let it simmer for 10 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot!

Best served with: Pasta or mashed potatoes.


2. Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken breast (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice

  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds or chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, to thicken the sauce)

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes until browned.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. (Optional) Mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the sauce to thicken.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve hot!

Best served with: Rice or stir-fried vegetables.


3. Pininyahang Manok (Filipino Pineapple Chicken)

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken thighs or breasts
